The year Isaac was born, we visited Becky's family in Oregon.
While there, I went over to take a look at the destruction from Mt. St. Helens.
These photos were taken less than three months after the mountain exploded.

(28K) 587 x 410	The Mountain. Taken from many miles away	(39K) 601 x 410	At the mouth of the Toutle River, which came gushing down when the glaciers on the mountain melted in the blast. Grey covering is volcanic ash.
(36K) 308 x 410	Another shot on Toutle. For scale, note that there are people in the photo.	(28K) 287 x 410	More destruction on the Toutle.
(42K) 577 x 410	Those are boxcars tossed around like they were toys.	(56K) 595 x 410	Again, note the people in the middleground of the picture.
(29K) 608 x 410	On the way over to the mountain. Couldn't resist the shot. I guess strong women didn't need this product.
